About our Company

GIORGI chemical factory was founded in Karlsruhe in 1927.

Back then, the company produced solid and liquid soaps, hand washing pastes, floor waxes and detergents with the GIORGIN® logo.

Slipping accidents already occurred back then. To prevent these, GIORGI started developing anti-slip waxes, which were successfully applied until 1987. Then the company added anti-slip emulsions and anti-slip coatings. In 1989, Giorgi expanded its offer range with the chemical anti-slip treatment for all quartz floors.

In 1992, Giorgi developed the Giorgin® coating methods based on the positive experiences gained in the fields of accident prevention and occupational health and safety. Since then, these methods are used for the successful treatment of all types of floors coming into contact with lubricants (water, oil, fat, etc.), which pose a hazard for humans and animals.

Thanks to constant advance developments, our anti-slide systems are in successfully application for many years now in all industrial, production, administration and private sectors.
